Edmund Campion Wallace Kress passed away on March 16, 2025, he was a dear camper, CIT, camp leader and beloved friend to many. He was 20 years old. Kress died from the injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. According to High Point, “His contribution at camp encouraged us whenever he volunteered with the activities and helped with the campers as we shared the work of the Gospel.”
They will continue to hold vigil for Edmund until Tuesday night at Mary-Elizabeth’s house (70 Old Highway, Hillsdale, NY). They would like to have some private family time until 3 p.m. on Wednesday. From 3pm (Wednesday)-2am (Thursday) we will have public visiting and viewing hours (also at Mary-Elizabeth’s house).
Edmund’s funeral service will be held on Thursday at 12pm at St. Mary’s Church (Holy Trinity Parish – 429 E. Allen St., Hudson, NY). There will be a procession to the gravesite (Austerlitz Cemetery – 11507 NY-22, Austerlitz, NY), followed by a celebration of Edmund’s life at the Culley Home (959 Dugway Road, Chatham, NY). Please bring a dish to share for the reception (and pass this along to anyone who may not have heard).
